Meet The Farm

Truly an Urban Farm

Located on the University of Washington’s Campus in Seattle, WA

Project Indoor Farm (IF) currently operates out of Condon Hall and is completely student-run.

Over the past three years, teams of students have collaborated on projects such as live viewing, automation, new crop research, and record-keeping.

We are always looking for opportunities to expand beyond our current research space and are excited to get involved in our local community.

 

Our Farm

In 400 square feet, we can produce 256 Lettuce heads at our maximum capacity. We have 32 vertical hydroponic towers which we use with LED lights to produce a variety of crops - from leafy greens to flowers to fresh produce. Our production cycle begins with a seed and ends with delicious and nutritious produce that we are able to share with our club members.

We routinely use our harvests to host community events for all of our members, such as our Pesto Pasta Parties!
